Terms of Service

Last updated: 2026-05-19 (draft)

This is a working draft for SprintNook's development phase. It will be finalised, with legal review, before public launch.

1. Acceptance of these terms

SprintNook is a collaboration tool for running agile ceremonies, provided by MachineSquad Ltd. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use SprintNook.

2. The service

SprintNook lets you create workspaces and run collaborative sessions such as retrospectives and planning. Features may change as the product develops.

3. Eligibility and your account

You must be at least 16 years old to use SprintNook. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your sign-in method secure. Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access.

4. Acceptable use

Do not misuse the service. In particular, do not break the law, infringe the rights of others, upload malicious code, attempt to disrupt or gain unauthorised access to the service, or use it to harass anyone.

5. Your content

You keep all rights to the content you create in SprintNook. You grant MachineSquad Ltd a limited licence to host, process, and display that content solely to operate the service for you and your collaborators.

6. Development-phase status

SprintNook is in active development. The service is provided as-is, may be unavailable or change without notice, and should not yet be relied on for business-critical work. Keep your own copies of anything important.

7. Disclaimers and liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, MachineSquad Ltd excludes implied warranties and is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of data or profits. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

8. Suspension and termination

You may stop using SprintNook at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, or where required for security or legal reasons.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of Scotland, and the Scottish courts have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the service evolves. Material changes will be notified before they take effect; continuing to use SprintNook after that means you accept the updated terms.

11. Contact

Questions about these terms can be sent to legal@sprintnook.com.
